A majority of my portraits are made

using my own photographs (especially in the case of children's portraits). I will visit you and take a series of informal shots in various lights and settings, then editing these images  down to 4  or 5 for you to choose a preferred likeness and pose. Its so important that the images used capture the subject the way YOU recognise and know them.

I paint on canvas or unframed gesso boards depending on your preferred look and whether you want a framed painting.  

Paintings usually take a month to complete.
